How many of you feel as exasperated as me when it comes to all of the recommendations that involve food? One minute the nutritionists are saying that we should eat 5 portions of fruit and vegetables per day, the next they are trying to increase this number to 8. The fact is that there is far too much health advice in the public domain when it comes to the consumption of food. Moreover, much of this is often unworkable in the everyday lives of the citizens to whom the advice is directed.
